Basement Jaxx come the critically acclaimed UK house music duo comprised of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe that rose to popularity in the late 1990s. Basement Jaxx began within Brixton, south London in 1994, where it held the regular club nighttime known as Rooty, which would late get a title of their 2nd creative person album.

Kish Kash won a 2004 Grammy for better dance album. From either this album, a tracks "Lucky Star", "Good Luck" & "Plug It In" were freed when singles. A track "Good Luck" was re-freed within 2004, fallowing exposure from either existence a theme to BBC's Euro 2004 coverage, with the favorite remix. "Good Luck" is as well in the soundtrack of Appleseed, an anime movie freed around 2004.
Within 2005 the duo released The Singles, comprising of all the singles from their former Trey albums, occasionally sooner releases (featured in Atlantic Jaxx Recordings), & deuce recently tracks, "Oh My Gosh" & "U Don't Know Me", which were two freed when singles. A Singles (Favorite Edition) was besides freed, which contained a original compilation, too as a bonus disc entitled Bonus Traxx, which contained numbers of antecedently unreleased tracks, too when occasionally remixes of existent Basement Jaxx songs. A streaming for "U Don't Know Me" featured the boozy, orgiastic, & violent Queen Elizabeth II lookalike and was prohibited from either daytime rotatiin on MTV. It is presently getting their next album, which is however to become titled & is freed around early 2006.
It appeared as a newspaper headline work on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury Festival in 2005.
